The incredibubble snow conditions has finally settled down somewhat and the sun was out and the sky was blue. With minimal new snow, it was time to look for some wind loaded area for some soft stuff. Below the wind scoured ridge, in amongst the trees we found what we were looking for.
We took the same lift all day for some lift access side country skiing. With the altimeter set at 1080m, we set the traverse line and skied freshies all day from the top.
As the end of February loomed and the warmth of the sun, there was certainly a slight sense of melancholy in the air. Tomorrow was going to change all that! Hold tight.
